Dias preguiçosos

Hoje fui assistir O Profeta, concorrente de melhor filme estrangeiro no Oscar desse ano. Muito bem cotado na crítica, porém eu achei forte para caramba. A história tem quase três horas, trata de máfia (corsos e árabes), passando-se dentro de uma prisão na França. Muito bom, mas bastante violento.

Acabei de ler a biografia de Ozzy Osbourne. Realmente tem trechos impagáveis no livro, como por exemplo a parte em que conta porque comeu a cabeça do morcego e o que aconteceu depois. Ou então a parte em que numa reunião com uma grande gravadora ele comeu, literalmente, a cabeça de uma pomba. Ele é uma figura e tanto e não é por nada que ainda faz tanto sucesso. Louco é pouco!

Hoje comprei as biografias de Eric Clapton e Slash, para ler DEPOIS dos livros que ainda tenho na cabeceira.

Meus quatro gatos estão todos nesse momento deitados em cima de mim. Estou na minha cama, com o notebook e como está frio, eles vieram se esquentar em mim! Amo essas criaturas!

Continuo em férias, louca de saudades de minha filha que está viajando com meus pais. Por enquanto posso dormir até mais tarde, pelo menos.

Today I went to the cinema to watch A Prophet, a competitor for best foreign film Oscar this year. Very well quoted in criticism, but I thought so strong and violent. The story is nearly three hours, about mafia (Corsican and Arabs), moving inside a prison in France. Very good, but very violent.

I just read the biography of Ozzy Osbourne. Has really priceless pieces in the book, such as the party that counts because he ate the head of the bat and what happened afterwards. Or the part where a meeting with a major label he ate, literally, the head of a dove. He is both a figure and not for nothing that is still so successful. Crazy is little!

Today I bought the biographies of Eric Clapton and Slash, to read AFTER the books that I have in my bedside table.

My four cats are all at this moment lying on top of me. I'm in my bed with the notebook and today is cold, they came to warm up to me! I love these creatures!

Still on vacation, thinking about my daughter who is traveling with my parents. For now I can sleep later, at least.
